This is a shot of a panel from a honeybee hive taken through glass. You can see my reflection, in a black t shirt, behind the bees. Once in a while you get a shot that you love so much, you keep looking at it. There are so many things I like about this: the detail with the bees’ bodies; the different focal points; the reflection (always a favorite shot for me); and even the colors.
I used my Sony RX100iii for this shot, because it happened to be in my pocket. It is a very reliable camera for carrying around with me, and it captures so much light in varied conditions.
